Customer James Watson took on MR2 regulars at Thruxton. After a tough first race which saw him drop from second, due to contact. James came back to win race two. James commented that all he could hear in his head was Stewart's last words of advice. ("CALM DOWN"). James now hopes to tackle the Birkett 6hr race.
2017 has seen Stewart return for his 19th season of Goodwood Motorsport events. Stewarts looks after the circuit and Hill climb, dealing with all the on track logistics and ensuring the event is running smoothly. Stewart will be returning to this role in 2018 starting with the 76th Members meeting in March.
Link up with Lunar
2017 saw Stewart link up with friend Adam Richards and his team Lunar Motorsport. Together they took on the Puma Cup Round at Thruxton. The round allowed them to test the new driving partnership and develop the car for the 2018 Season. 2018 will see them take on some of the UK's toughest circuits, in a competitive race series.
76th Memebers Meeting
The Goodwood 76th Memebers meeting saw snow and adverse wheather. But Stewart still undertook his role as liasion officier, attending all on track incidents. The Sunday also saw Stewart take on the role of deputy chief observer. This involved many laps in a Porsche Cayman S checking the track and leading trcak parades.
